Justin Verlander will not pitch for the Detroit Tigers in Game 7 of the ALCS if the team pushes the series that far, according to manager Jim Leyland. Verlander threw 133 pitches in the Tigers' 7-5 victory in Thursday's Game 6.

The Detroit Tigers added outfielder Delmon Young to their ALCS roster, replacing Magglio Ordonez, who is out for the rest of the season with a fractured ankle. Young is currently recovering from an oblique injury and was originally left off the roster.
