ALCS Schedule 2011: Start Times Announced For Tigers-Rangers Series

Major League Baseball has announced the start times for all seven games of the ALCS between the Detroit Tigers and Texas Rangers. The dates and TV arrangements were already known weeks ago, but the start times were only determined and announced on Friday.

Here's a look at the ALCS schedule for the Tigers-Rangers series (all times Eastern):

Game 1 - Tigers at Rangers - Saturday, Oct. 8, 8:05 p.m. (FOX)

Game 2 - Tigers at Rangers - Sunday, Oct. 9, 7:45 p.m. (FOX)

Game 3 - Rangers at Tigers - Tuesday, Oct. 11, 8:05 p.m. (FOX)

Game 4 - Rangers at Tigers - Wednesday, Oct. 12, 4:19 p.m. (FOX)

*Game 5 - Rangers at Tigers - Thursday, Oct. 13, 4:19 p.m. (FOX)

*Game 6 - Tigers at Rangers - Saturday, Oct. 15, 8:05 p.m. (FOX)

*Game 7 - Tigers at Rangers - Sunday, Oct. 16, 8:05 p.m. (FOX)

*If necessary

I'm not a fan of Games 4 and 5 starting in the afternoon. That's a pretty bad time for shadows, and it's going to be tough for a lot of people to watch the game on a weekday afternoon. Luckily the rest of the games aren't going to start until later in the day.
