Detroit Tigers Tickets Go On Sale Starting Saturday

If you are looking to purchase single game tickets to Detroit Tigers games, set your alarm on Saturday morning early enough so that you have time to get to a computer by 10 a.m. That is when they go on sale for games during the 2011 season, including the home opener against the Kansas City Royals on April 8. (A heads up: you can only purchase a maximum of four tickets for the home opener.)

There are four ways you can buy Tigers tickets beginning Saturday morning:

↵
    ↵
  • Go to the Tigers' official website and order them online. (Be warned, in past years the site has moved very slowly with so many people trying to get tickets.)
  • ↵
  • Call 866-668-4437 and order them over the phone.
  • ↵
  • Find one of the select Meijer stores selling tickets and place an order there.
  • ↵
  • Finally, go in person to the Comerica Park box office. (There is a chance of rain Saturday morning and the high temperature is only supposed to be in the 30s, so dress appropriately.)
