MLB Standings Update: Here Come The Tigers

Just two short weeks ago, the Detroit Tigers were on a seven-game losing streak, had a record that was five games below .500 and were eight games back of the first-place Cleveland Indians in the AL Central. Now, following a stretch where the Tigers have won 10 out of their last 11 games, Detroit is four games over .500 and only 3.5 games back in the AL Central. What a difference a couple weeks make.

Next week Detroit will open a 10-game homestand that includes series against the Rays, Red Sox and Twins.
