Tigers-White Sox Picked Up For 'Sunday Night Baseball' On ESPN2

The Tigers have been getting little national love so far this season, which is a bit surprising considering they've been at or near the top of the division. They're about to get some.

Tigers-White Sox game on Sun. 9\4 has been selected for Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN2. First pitch moved from 1:05 p.m. to 8:09 p.m.

The national broadcast on ESPN means that the game will not be broadcast locally by Fox Sports Detroit as ESPN has exclusivity. The Tigers usually don't get on ESPN much because it's usually reserved for the Red Sox, Yankees or Phillies, but it's nice to see they're at least taking a little notice.

If the rotation holds up as is, Doug Fister is the pitcher in line to get the start. No pressure, new guy.
