Tigers Rally To Beat White Sox, Keep Winning Streak Alive

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Carlos Guillen singled in the go-ahead run in the 10th inning to lead the Tigers to a three-game sweep over the White Sox with a 6-5 victory.

Ryan Raburn and Alex Avila each hit pinch-hit home runs in the top of the ninth to force the game into extra innings.

Phil Coke (3-9) pitched a scoreless ninth inning for the win and Jose Valverde struck out the side in the bottom of the 10th to earn his 44th save of the year.

The Tigers have won 12 straight games and lowered their magic number to clinch their first division title since 1987 to three.

Sergio Santos (4-5) was charged with the tying run in the ninth and then gave up the deciding run in the 10th to take the loss.

Alexei Ramirez had two hits, two RBI and a run scored in Chicago's fourth consecutive defeat.
