Next week, the Detroit Tigers will open the 2012 MLB season against the Boston Red Sox at Comerica Park. If you attend the game, one of the first things you will notice is the new scoreboard in left field. The old scoreboard has been replaced, and the new one is nearly complete.

This is seriously going to be a massive improvement over the old scoreboard, which featured a tiny, low-quality video screen. The new scoreboard features an LED board in the middle and will finally bring HD video to Comerica Park.
