Cabrera is batting .433 with one home run and four RBI in 13 games, while Young is batting .422 in 17 games and leading the team in RBI with 19 to go along with five home runs.Ryan Rayburn, meanwhile is solidifying the starting second baseman position, hitting .353 with six home runs and 18 RBI.
Justin Verlander looks poised for another great season on the mound, surrendering just five runs in 20.2 innings. He also struck out 20 batters, trailing only Max Scherzer's 21 strikeouts for the team lead. Scherzer has thrown 20 innings, allowing nine earned runs and earning a record of 1-1.
