The Texas Rangers picked up where they left off on Thursday night when they banged out 19 hits, touching up Tigers starter Rick Porcello for EIGHT runs in the top half of the first inning (seven earned) and another in the top of the second on Saturday afternoon. Porcello only recorded three outs in facing 15 batters before getting the hook.
Apparently, Porcello was celebrating an anniversary:
Last #Tigers pitcher to give up 8 earned runs in a start while getting just 3 outs: Jose Lima, 10 years ago today. Can't make this up.

Porcello entered the game with a 1.84 ERA and a 0.89 WHIP. Those numbers are now 6.32 and 1.53, respectively.
