The Detroit Tigers are getting set, just like every team in the MLB, and have their roster mostly in place. Well, that's getting a bit of a shakeup, with an injury coming to one of their pitching staff. Jason Beck reports, via Twitter, that Luis Marte is going to head to the disabled list:
Left hamstring strain for #Tigers reliever Luis Marte, team announces. He's heading to DL.

Marte had just made it onto the roster, coming out of his first pro camp. He was called up last year for limited time in Detroit's bullpen and, though he was considered someone with a lot of potential, his name didn't come up much in early roster discussions. In 13 innings during the exhibition season, Marte allowed three runs and five hurts, walking three and striking out a very stellar 16 batters.
There's already speculation as to who will replace Marte for the time being, and as the Detroit Free Press notes, Brayan Villarreal was the last pitcher to go when the pitching staff was finalized. He was optioned just after Duane Below, to Triple-A Toledo.
