There is some nasty weather in the area of Target Field in Minnesota on Saturday, but all indications were that the Tigers-Twins game would start at 2:10 p.m. ET as planned. The tarp, which was on the field to protect the field from the rains over the night and during the morning, was removed shortly before 1 p.m. ET. and, again, the game was expected to start on time.
That has changed, however:

While the forecast predicts more rain, the radar looks relatively clear. Apparently it is dry right now, but threatening weather is expected, so the delay is a precaution.
