VIDEO: Jim Leyland's Latest Post-Game Tirade

Tigers skipper Jim Leyland was not happy with the umpires during and after Monday afternoon's 7-4 loss to the Boston Red Sox, particularly with umpire Bill Welke, who ruled that a foul-tipped strike three hit the dirt before landing in catcher Gerald Laird's glove, keeping the second inning alive for the Red Sox. The call ultimately helped the Sox score three runs in the inning, which wound up being the final difference in the game. Both third base coach Gene Lamont and Leyland were ejected for arguing the call between innings.

Following the game, Jim Leyland wouldn't bash the umps directly, but instead, went on a little rant to the media about how they should hold the umpires accountable when they write their stories rather than trying to get a quote out him that would get him fined.
