Tigers Vs. Mariners: Starting Lineups For Wednesday Night

On Wednesday night, the Detroit Tigers and Seattle Mariners will play the rubber match of a three-game set. Coming off of a big 6-4 win on Tuesday night, the Tigers will look to build off of that effort to pull together a series-winning performance.

Here are the projected starting lineups as listed on the two teams' respective Twitter accounts:

Starting Pitcher: Drew Smyly; 1-0, 1.61 ERA in five starts this season

Mariners

1. John Jaso, Catcher

2. Brendan Ryan, Short Stop

3. Ichiro Suzuki, Right Field

4. Jesus Montero, Designated Hitter

5. Kyle Seager, Second Base

6. Justin Smoak, First Base

7. Alex Liddi, Third Base

8. Casper Wells, Left Field

9. Chone Figgins

Starting Pitcher: Jason Vargas; 3-2, 3.09 ERA in seven starts this season.

Jaso will be only the second catcher in Mariners history to ever bat leadoff.
