Casey Crosby's MLB debut isn't going to be an easy one. Doug Fister was placed on the DL by the Tigers and Crosby, who went 4-2 with a 4.26 ERA in nine starts for AAA Toledo this season, was brought up to replace him. He'll have his work cut out for him in his debut against the New York Yankees in the first game of a three game series at Comerica Park.

The Tigers are still on a bit of a slide, finally getting a win over the Boston Red Sox at the end of their last series but suffering several losses in a row before that as they remain looking up from third in the AL Central. The Yankees are currently 4-2 on a nine game road trip ending in Detroit.

Facing Casey Crosby will be veteran ace CC Sabathia. The Yankees big man has struggled against the Tigers over the course of his career but still has a solid 6-2 record and 3.66 ERA along with a whopping 69 strikeouts.

The game will be at Comerica Park at 7:05 p.m. ET.
