On Saturday morning, the Detroit Tiger announced via the Twitter account of Brian Britten that the club had come to terms with three more selections from the 2012 First-Year Player Draft held at the beginning of June. The team reached deals with left-handed pitcher Jordan John (selected in the sixth round), outfielder Jeff McVaney (selected in the eighth round) and second baseman Tyler Hanover (selected in the 33rd round).

The club has come to terms with 20 players from this year's draft class, all of which came over the course of this past week.
