On the bright side of things, at the least the Detroit Tigers won't get no-hit by the Brad Lincoln led Pittsburgh Pirates on Saturday. Still, they trail the Bucs 3-0 through six innings.
It's not like Pittsburgh had been killing it exactly. The Pirates just happened to get three runs in the fourth inning when Andrew McCutchen homered to left center field to put his team ahead.
Other than three-run, two-hit fourth inning, there was just one hit earlier in the game from Pittsburgh, and then second baseman Ramon Santiago saving the Tigers a bit of embarrassment, should they still lose or get shut out of this game.
