Tigers Vs. Pirates Video: Ryan Raburn Robs A Home Run

The Detroit Tigers were able to avoid a series sweep on Sunday with a narrow 3-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates, and left fielder Ryan Raburn was a major reason for that. With two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning Josh Harrison hit a deep fly ball to left that certainly looked like it could be a game-tying home run, but Raburn had other ideas.

Raburn faded back to the warning track in this video and robbed Harrison of a game-tying homer as fans nearly interfered and even spilled drinks on him. The web gem saved the lead for Justin Verlander, who was able to close out the complete game victory an inning later.

The win was the only one Detroit was able to get in Pittsburgh, as the Pirates won the first two games of hte series by identical 4-1 scores. Raburn also went 1 for 4 at the plate.
