2012 MLB Draft: Tigers Sign Draftees Jake Stewart, Josh Turley

Signings from the 2012 MLB Draft will continue throughout the season and into next offseason (and occasionally into the next season, too), with a seemingly endless stream of young talent hoping to stick with the teams that have drafted them. The Detroit Tigers have been signing players just about every day since the draft, and they're keeping up with the pace on Wednesday.

Brian Britten revealed on Twitter that the team has come to terms with outfielder Jake Stewart and left-handed pitcher Josh Turley:

As noted, those are the ninth- and sixteenth-round selections. On top of bringing those two guys in, Britten also Tweeted that the team has brought in catcher Drew Longley from the University of South Florida as a non-drafted free agent. There's still plenty of draft picks to sign, but it's a smart bet to suggest that more non-drafted guys will be coming in, as well.
