After making Stanford CF Jake Stewart their eighth selection in the ninth round (pick No. 304 overall), the Tigers finished out the second day of the 2012 MLB First-Year Player Draft by selecting six other prospects, three right-handed pitchers, a couple middle infielders and a catcher.

No. 454: Hunter Scantling, RHP - Florida State University, FL
6'08" 270lbs DOB: 09/12/89
No. 484: Jordan Dean, SS (R/R) - Central Michigan University, MI
5'10" 170lbs DOB: 08/12/90
