MLB Draft 2012: Tigers Finish Day 3 With More Pitching Prospects

The trend was consistent throughout Day 3 of the 2012 MLB First-Year Player Draft as the Detroit Tigers added more pitching prospects to their system selecting seven pitchers over the course of their final 13 picks on Day 3. The Tigers finished with 14 new pitchers out of the 25 total selections on the day.
