On Monday night, the Detroit Tigers and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim will begin a four-game set at Detroit's Comerica Park. With each team sitting no more than five games back of the lead in their respective divisions, the four-game set will offer an ample opportunity to gain ground on their closest rivals.
The Tigers will be looking to receive a healthy contribution from their red-hot offense, as the team has scored no fewer than four runs since June 29, which has seen the team put together a record of 9-3 over that span.
Tonight's lineup: Jackson 8, Berry 7, Cabrera 5, Fielder 3, Young dh, Boesch 9, Peralta 6, Avila 2, Santiago 4. Porcello is starting.
