Tigers Vs. White Sox: AL Central Lead Up For Grabs

After Friday's 4-2 win, the Detroit Tigers have put themselves in position to steal the AL Central division lead from the Chicago White Sox in Saturday's game. They'll face a tough challenge in Chicago's Chris Sale, though, who visits Detroit with an 11-2 record and a sterling 2.11 ERA on the season.

Detroit had success against the pitcher earlier in the year, grabbing three earned runs and five hits in an eventual 5-2 win back on April 15. But Sale has been on something of a hot streak, winning his last eight decisions after a May 12 loss against the Kansas City Royals.

The Tigers will send Rick Porcello to the mound, who despite his mediocre overall record (6-5) has pitched well against the White Sox. Porcello won both starts against Chicago this year and has won four straight against the team.

Saturday's game will be at Comerica Park and begins at 4:05 p.m. ET.
