The rubber game might have to wait a little longer between the Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Indians. Thursday's finale is being delayed due to rain.
WEATHER UPDATE:The start of tonight's game is on hold, but we're optimistic to play. No specific start time has been announced Stay Tuned

The forecast calls for possible showers the rest of the night, so it is unclear when or if the game is resumed.
A postponement would mean that the three-game series between the Indians and Tigers from Sept. 14-16 would likely become a four-game series. It is the Tigers only other trip to Cleveland.
Instead of a doubleheader, the two teams could play on Monday the 17th, but it would mean the Tigers would not have an off day from Sept. 7 through the end of the season.
