Tigers Vs. Blue Jays: Struggling Detroit Offense Needs Reversal Of Fortunes To Avoid Sweep

The Detroit Tigers are 1-4 since their five-game winning streak came to an end earlier this week, and they've scored just 14 runs in those five games. They've lost the first two games in Toronto after new Tiger Anibal Sanchez gave up five runs in his debut Saturday afternoon.

Doug Fister (4-7, 4.03 ERA) takes the mound for the Tigers as they look to avoid a three-game sweep and a fourth straight loss. He's been effective in his three starts since the All-Star Break, with a 2.05 ERA and quality starts in each of those outings.

For Toronto, lefty Brett Cecil (2-3, 5.82 ERA) will be trying to prove he's worthy of keeping his rotation spot. He's struggled with giving up home runs throughout his career, but has allowed less than three runs in his two most recent starts.
