After it initially appeared as though the weather would clear up and baseball would get underway at Comerica Park on Tuesday night, an ill-timed thunderstorm has forced the Tigers-Twins game into a rain delay.
We are currently in a rain delay at Comerica Park. #Tigers

A brief look at the weather report for the Detroit area isn't particularly promising, as Weather.com indicates that showers will hover around the area until at least 8:00 p.m., which will threaten to make the playing field quite sloppy.
Scheduled to make his first start of 2012, the ambiguous delay certainly must not be doing much for the nerves of 26-year-old Tigers pitcher Duane Below, who hopes to impress with this unexpected spot-start.
