Tigers Vs. Red Sox: Aces Set To Duel In Game 2

On Tuesday night, the Detroit Tigers and Boston Red Sox will play the second game of a three-game set at Fenway Park.

With the Red Sox taking Game 1 by a final score of 7-3, the Tigers will look to rebound in Game 2 when they send ace Justin Verlander (11-6, 2.60 ERA) to the hill. Verlander will look to bounce back as well, as he allowed five earned runs on nine hits in seven innings pitched in his most recent start against the Cleveland Indians.

In response, the Red Sox are expected to send out Josh Beckett (5-9, 4.57 ERA), but with trade speculation running rampant, its possible that Boston's disgruntled ace may be headed somewhere else when the Red Sox and Tigers are playing their game if the team decides to trade him prior to Tuesday's 4 p.m. non-waiver trade deadline.
