After an 8-4 win on Tuesday night, Detroit will look for a series victory when they face the Minnesota Twins in the final contest of a three-game set.
The Tigers put eight runs on the board on Tuesday and Max Scherzer will be hoping for similar run support when he takes the hill against Minnesota starter Cole De Vries. Scherzer is looking to notch his 12th victory on the season before Detroit heads back home to face the Baltimore Orioles over the weekend.
Detroit would like to get another win from the division's worst team as they still sit two games behind the division-leading Chicago White Sox. The Tigers didn't gain any ground with their win on Tuesday as the Sox also won, defeating the Toronto Blue Jays in a close game, 3-2.
