Tigers Vs. White Sox: Game Info, TV Schedule And More

The White Sox and Tigers meet up for an important make-up game on Monday.

The Detroit Tigers will face the Chicago White Sox on Monday in a makeup for the game that was postponed last Thursday, with first pitch set for 2:10 p.m. ET at U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago. The Tigers will send Doug Fister to the mound, while the White Sox counter with Jose Quintana.

Fister is 9-8 with a 3.49 ERA on the season. The 28-year-old right-hander's last start came against the White Sox just six days ago. In that outing, he went seven strong innings, giving up two runs on two hits while earning the victory.

The rookie left-hander, Quintana, has went 6-4 with a 3.52 ERA in 21 appearances this season, 19 of which have been starts. His last start came against the Tigers last Monday. It was his best performance of the year, allowing just one run in 7.2 innings on his way to the win.

This game is crucial in the race for the AL Central crown. The Tigers are just two back of the White Sox with 17 games to play.
