The Detroit Tigers and Minnesota Twins series-opener is in a rain delay Friday, and the game might not get started for some time, according to Dana Wakiji of Fox Sports Detroit:

The Tigers came into tonight's game trailing the Chicago White Sox by two games in the AL Central standings. The White Sox play the Los Angeles Angels tonight in Anaheim at 10:05 p.m.
The Tigers have seven games left in the season, starting with tonight's three-game series against the Twins. They also play four games against the Kansas City Royals to close the season.
