After Friday's game against the Minnesota Twins was rained out, the Detroit Tigers and Twins have both adjusted their starting rotations slightly.
Rick Porcello, who was scheduled to start Friday, has been bumped. Doug Fister (9-9, 3.65 ERA) will take his scheduled turn on Saturday at 4:05 p.m ET. Porcello will start one of the two games in Sunday's double-header if Max Scherzer is not healthy enough to start. Drew Smyly will start the other game Sunday.
The Twins, meanwhile, pushed Saturday's starter Scott Diamond to Sunday's first game. P.J. Walters will start the second game. Samuel Deduno (6-4, 3.84 ERA) was the scheduled starter Friday, but he'll now start Saturday.
Fister is 1-2 with a 4.50 ERA in three starts against the Twins this season. Deduno beat the Tigers on Aug. 13, giving up three runs in seven innings in a 9-3 win.
