The Detroit Tigers lost the second game of their doubleheader against the Minnesota Twins on Sunday, 2-1. The only offense the Tigers were able to muster was Miguel Cabrera's RBI double in the first inning.

Twins starter P.J. Walters gave up five hits over six innings of work and struck out four. The Minnesota bullpen finished the game off with four scoreless innings during which it allowed just one hit.
The Tigers got plenty of solid pitching as well, but the Twins were able to tie the game at one in the fifth inning. Jamey Carroll singled home the winning run in the top of the 10th.
Detroit entered Sunday with an opportunity to claim first place in the AL Central, and while the White Sox cooperated with another loss, the Tigers were not able to take advantage.
