The Detroit Tigers open up a series at home against the Cleveland Indians on Monday afternoon. Detroit needed a good showing against the White Sox over the weekend, and that's exactly what it got. Against, Cleveland, they'll be trying to build on that momentum.

The Detroit Tigers are expected to go with Anibal Sanchez (7-11, 4.24 ERA) on the mound, and the Indians are scheduled to pitch Corey Kluber (0-3, 5.16). Sanchez lost his most recent start, though it wasn't because of a poor effort -- he allowed just one run over seven innings.

Game Date & Time: Monday, Sept. 3, 1:05 p.m. ET

TV: FOX Sports Detroit
