The Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions will renew their NFC North rivalry in Week 7, when the Bears play host to the Lions on Monday Night Football.
The Lions, however, could be a little shorthanded when they take the field on Monday night. Six Lions players missed practice on Wednesday, which puts their status for Monday night's showdown in jeopardy.
Wide receiver Nate Burleson, defensive end Cliff Avril, defensive tackle Corey Williams, linebacker DeAndre Levy and cornerbacks Bill Bentley and Jacob Lacey all missed practice on Wednesday with various injuries.
Sean Yuille suspects that Burleson, Avril and Levy are simply resting, but that Williams, Bentley and Lacey's statuses are all up in the air as we get closer to Monday night.
Though it's difficult to call any game a must-win early in the season, the Lions will certainly attempt to make a statement on Monday night, as the Lions try to even up their record at 3-3, and drop Chicago to 4-2.
