The Lions have not only fallen short in each of their last eight Thanksgiving games on the scoreboard, but have also been topped each time against the spread. The Texans will also enter with a strong 7-3 mark against the spread over the course of the season, and are also 8-2 over their last 10 road games against the spread.
While both previous meetings between the two franchises have outscored the over/under prediction, the under mark is a stellar 6-3 over Detroit's last nine Thanksgiving games. The Lions may hold a 4-2 record over their last six games at Ford Field, but will certainly have their hands full trying to slow down the NFL's top-ranked rushing attack on the road this season (166.0 yards/game).
