Unable to pull off their first Thanksgiving Day win since 2003, the 4-7 Detroit Lions now face extremely long odds in order to clinch a berth in the postseason for the second consecutive year.

Losers of three straight games, the Lions came in at the No. 23 overall team this week according to CBSSports.com's Pete Prisco's weekly rankings. Prisco, who ranked the Lions one spot higher at No. 22 the previous week, had harsh words for a team that he calls vastly different than the one he watched in 2011.

"They are done," Prisco said. "Stick a fork in them. They just haven't been the same team as they were a year ago."

Rounding out the bottom third of the league, the Lions checked in at No. 20 in ESPN.com's Week 13 rankings, a mark that puts them ahead of all other 4-7 teams across the NFL. Also of the belief that Jim Schwartz's Lions are not quite done is SB Nation's Joel Thorman, who slotted Detroit at No. 19 in his batch of rankings this week. Thorman points out that through repeated incidents that "the bad Lions are back," but still opted to rank the Lions ahead of a five-win Miami Dolphins team this week.
