After each missed practice Wednesday, offensive lineman Jeff Backus and tailback Mikel Leshoure were back on the practice field in a limited capacity on Thursday.
Backus was able to suit up for the first time since suffering a hamstring injury in Week 11, while Leshoure sat out Wednesday with an ankle problem he suffered on Thanksgiving Day. Joining the two on Detroit's official Week 13 injury report, starting safety Louis Delmas was also back on the practice field after sitting out to begin the week. Delmas was unable to finish out the team's overtime loss to Houston due to knee soreness, and he has been limited by knee issues for much of the season.
Defensive linemen Corey Williams (knee) and Cliff Avril (back) were each limited participants on Thursday, as well, as both players missed the previous day despite having an extended rest period. For the Colts, pass rusher Dwight Freeney was back at practice Thursday after being granted a rest day, while star quarterback Andrew Luck was a full participant despite dealing with a nagging knee issue.
