After each sitting out of their team's Week 9 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, Detroit Lions safeties Louis Delmas and Amari Spievey were once again not able to take part in practice on Wednesday.
The two defensive backs were joined by starting wide receivers Calvin Johnson and Titus Young on Detroit's initial Week 10 injury report, as a total of nine players were either limited or held out of action on Wednesday. Both Johnson and Young continue to nurse minor knee injuries that have flared up in recent weeks, even though it's still widely assumed that both men will be in action once again to face the Vikings this Saturday.
Along with not having Delmas and Spievey on the back end, linebacker DeAndre Levy and safety Erik Coleman were each limited participants on Wednesday as well. Coleman is currently dealing with a toe injury that comes at a bad time for head coach Jim Schwartz's depleted secondary, while Levy continues to try and work his way back to health from a hamstring injury.
