Lions injury report: Detroit unscathed in loss to Arizona

The Lions managed to escape Sunday's thrashing without injury.

USA TODAY Sports

It's hard to find anything positive from the Detroit Lions' perspective in their 38-10 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, but the Lions did manage to play through the game without having a player leave due to injury. A thin silver lining if there ever was one, but one nonetheless.

Of course, Detroit isn't fully healthy as a team. A passing offense already struggling to augment star receiver Calvin Johnson had an even tougher go of it on Sunday with the absence of Brandon Pettigrew, who was inactive due to an ankle injury. The Lions were also without starting defensive tackle Nick Fairley, who hurt his shoulder in Detroit's loss at Green Bay and was also ruled inactive.

One bit of good news was that safety Louis Delmas, who was listed as questionable heading into the game, did manage to suit up. On the day, Delmas recorded three tackles plus a tackle for a loss.
