Colts vs. Lions: Game time, TV schedule, injury updates and more

The Lions look to start a miracle run to the playoffs with a win over the Colts.

Mike Carter-US PRESSWIRE

The Detroit Lions' heartbreaking Thanksgiving Day loss to the Houston Texans pushed them to the absolute brink of being out of playoff contention, if they aren't there already. There is still a sliver of hope, but the Lions can't afford another loss, something that will be on their mind when they take on the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

The Colts, meanwhile, have won five of their last six games, with the one loss coming on the road to the New England Patriots. The Colts have won just two of their five road games, though, with those two wins coming over the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars. Indianapolis is in solid playoff position, and can continue to cement its position on Sunday.

The good news for the Lions is that the Colts feature one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL -- they rank in the bottom five in opponent's passer rating and have given up 19 touchdowns while snaring just five interceptions.

Kickoff on Sunday takes place at 1 p.m. on CBS.
