Each unable to take part at practice on Wednesday, Detroit Lions defensive backs Louis Delmas and Chris Houston joined a group of eight other players on the team's first injury report of Week 14.
Both Delmas and Houston played in Sunday's narrow loss to Indianapolis despite entering the weekend with injuries, and were given the full day off on Wednesday along with four other Lions players. In addition to offensive tackle Gosder Cherilus sitting out with knee problems, defensive linemen Lawrence Jackson and Corey Williams and cornerback Jacob Lacey each sat out to kick off the week.
Offensive tackle Jeff Backus and defensive lineman Nick Fairley also were both limited in practice by hamstring and quad injuries respectively, while receiver Kassim Osgood and linebacker Ashlee Palmer practiced fully despite being listed on the official injury report.
