A down year for the Detroit Lions is reflected by its representation at the NFL Pro Bowl.
The Lions have just two players set to play this Sunday in the 63rd annual NFL Pro Bowl. And one of those players was a late replacement.
Wide receiver Calvin Johnson was set to play in the annual All-Star game, but he's out because of an injury. The only Lions playing will be defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and long-snapper Don Muhlbach.
Suh was named as a replacement for Justin Smith, who will be occupied preparing for the Super Bowl with his San Francisco 49ers teammates. Suh had a solid year in his third NFL season, recording eight sacks and 35 total tackles in 16 games.
Here's a look at both rosters:
x-denotes out because of injury
y-denotes replacement for injured or Super Bowl player
z-will not play; Super Bowl participant
