Detroit Lions fans are probably getting sick of having such a high draft pick. But the Lions are once again picking in the top 10, so fans are left skimming through the Internet for opinions on what the team will do with its high pick this season.
Dan Kadar of SB Nation released his final mock draft before free agency opens, and his pick for Detroit is BYU defensive end Ezekiel Ansah.
Ansah hasn't been playing football for long, but he has already flashed enough athleticism and strength to draw some attention among teams picking the top 10 of April's draft. While he is widely considered to be a raw prospect, the natural ability should make Lions fans excited about the possibility of drafting him at No. 5.
In recent years, Detroit has built a solid defensive line in the middle, but the team is still looking for a player to rush the passer from the defensive end spot. After blowing up at the NFL Combine, Ansah could be the big-time edge rusher the team has been looking for.
