Taylor Lewan, Le'Veon Bell make Phil Steele's midseason All-American Team

Michigan State running back Le'Veon Bell and Michigan left tackle Taylor Lewan made Phil Steele's 2012 Midseason All-American college football team.

Michigan State Spartans running back Le'Veon Bell and Michigan Wolverines left tackle Taylor Lewan were both named to the first team of Phil Steele's 2012 Midseason All-Americans. Steele, author of Phil Steele's College Football Preview, released his Midseason All-American Team (first through fourth team) on Oct. 10.

Le'Veon Bell, a junior at MSU, has rushed 171 times for 776 yards and seven touchdowns for the Spartans this season. He also has 23 receptions for 132 yards. He has surpassed 200 yards rushing twice this season (against Boise State and Eastern Michigan).

Taylor Lewin, a redshirt junior at Michigan, anchors the Wolverines offensive line and is a projected first round draft pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. Lewan has been the predominant starting left tackle for Michigan since October of 2010.

Michigan State junior linebacker Max Bullough was named to the third team and Spartans junior tight end Dion Sims was named to the fourth team.
