Michigan Wolverines wide receiver Roy Roundtree didn't relax during Michigan's bye week. Instead, Roundtree stayed late after practices in effort to improve his stamina and conditioning.
"Once I sat out for three weeks, man, it was like I really wasn't in shape like I was in the summer," he said. "The bye week, I (focused on) acceleration and asked my strength coach to run me more and just stayed after practice to run more."
The senior wide receiver has just eight receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown pass in 2012. Roundtree's production has gone up ever-so-slightly as the season has progressed, catching hauling in a season-high three receptions for 30 yards in Michigan's loss to Notre Dame -- the Wolverines' most recent contest.
Roundtree hasn't fully recovered from arthroscopic knee surgery, which cost him weeks of practices leading up to the '12 season.
Hopefully for the Wolverines, Roundtree's stamina and conditioning will improve as the season goes on.
