Michigan Wolverines quarterback Denard Robinson broke the Big Ten record for total rushing yards by a quarterback in his team's 44-13 victory against the Purdue Boilermakers on Saturday. Rushing for 235 yards on 24 carries, Robinson passed Indiana's Antwaan Randle El on the all-time rushing list and now sits in first place with 3,905 yards.
Robinson also passed Michigan's Butch Woolfolk to take the No. 5 spot in the Wolverines' career rushing list. He is 274 yards off of fourth place in program history and 488 yards away from third place.
In addition to his ground game against Purdue, the 105 passing yards by Robinson led the Wolverines to its largest road win since 2006 and moved Michigan's record to 3-2 on the year.
It was an impressive rebound after Robinson struggled against Notre Dame the week prior. Against the Irish, he passed for 138 yards and ran for 90 more but threw four interceptions.
