Michigan, Arkansas announce future football series

The Michigan Wolverines will play a home-and-home series with the Arkansas Razorbacks in 2018 and 2019. Michigan also announced a 2015 game with BYU and 2016 contests against Hawaii, Miami (Ohio) and Ball State.

The Michigan Wolverines will play a home-and-home series with the Arkansas Razorbacks in 2018-19, Michigan announced on Tuesday, Nov. 6. The Wolverines will host the Razorbacks in their season opener on Sept. 1, 2018, and will open the next season in Fayetteville, Ark., on Aug. 31, 2019. Michigan and Arkansas have met only once before, with the Wolverines defeating the Razorbacks, 45-31, on Jan. 1, 1998 in the CompUSA Florida Citrus Bowl.

Michigan also announced that they will play the BYU Cougars to close out their non-conference schedule in 2015. The Wolverines will host BYU on Sept. 26, 2015.

Michigan announced three additions to their 2016 schedule as well. They will open the season against Hawaii on Sept. 3, 2016; then host Miami (Ohio) on Sept. 10, 2016, and will close out their non-conference schedule against Ball State on Sept. 24, 2016. All of the Wolverines' non-conference games in 2016 will be played in Ann Arbor, Mich. including a game against Colorado on Sept. 17, 2016.
