Outback Bowl 2013: South Carolina vs. Michigan odds and lines

South Carolina is favored by 6 points in the Outback Bowl.

Andrew Weber-US PRESSWIRE

The South Carolina Gamecocks are favored to beat Michigan by 6 points in the Outback Bowl on Jan. 1. The Gamecocks opened as a 4-point favorite, but the line has since continued to shift in their favor.

South Carolina has lost just twice this season while earning impressive wins against then No. 5 Georgia and No. 11 Clemson in its regular season finale on Nov. 24. The Gamecocks' losses came against LSU and Florida who were both ranked in the top-ten at the time.

Michigan has lost four games this year including early defeats to No. 1 Notre Dame and No. 2 Alabama. Michigan's only win against a ranked opponent this season came against No. 24 Northwestern on Nov. 10.
