Harris College Football Poll: Michigan State Also Up To 5th

All of the human polls have moved Michigan State up to fifth in the rankings this week. Earlier, the USA Today and AP Polls were released with MSU as the No. 5 team in the country, and the same goes for the Harris College Football Poll, which has the Spartans fifth in the nation.

Here is a full breakdown of the Harris Poll, which is one of the components of the BCS standings:

Michigan is the first of the unranked teams and can move back into the top 25 with a win at Penn State next week. The Wolverines actually moved up to 25th in the USA Today Poll despite being on a bye this past week. In the AP Poll, Michigan is still unranked.

The BCS standings will be released tonight shortly after 8:15 p.m. SB Nation Detroit will have an update and analysis relating to what the new standings mean for Michigan State.
