Cousins has been one of the best Spartans quarterbacks and ranks among Big Ten leaders in passing yardage (219.5 YPG), passing efficiency (140.5 rating), and touchdown passes (eight). At the very least, that covers the "competition" aspect of the award, right? If you remain unconvinced, or you want a list of all of the finalists, you can head over to this link.
