Indiana Vs. Michigan State Spartans: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The Michigan State Spartans open their Big Ten schedule with a home against a banged-up Indiana Hoosiers squad. Draymond Green has led the way thus far for the 9-2 Spartans.

The Michigan State. Spartans will look to continue their winning streak into the conference schedule as they open Big Ten play with a game against the Indiana Hoosiers on Wednesday night. The Spartans opened the season with back-to-back losses, but have won nine straight heading into Wednesday's contest scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. tip-off on the Big Ten Network.

The Spartans have been led by three players, primarily, through their first 11 games of the season. Draymond Green is nearly averaging a double-double with 15.5 points and 9.8 rebounds while Keith Appling and Brandon Wood are both averaging more than ten points per game.

According to the game preview from Stats LLC, Indiana is likely going to be short-handed for the Big Ten match-up.

As if Wednesday's matchup didn't present enough of a challenge, the Hoosiers could be at less than full strength with starting guard Verdell Jones III (hip flexor) and reserves Will Sheehey (leg) and Derek Elston (broken nose) all uncertain to play. The trio is averaging a combined 25.0 points.

Following Wednesday night's game, the Spartans are in action next against the Nebraska Cornhuskers on New Year's Eve as the Big Ten schedule heads into full effect.
